Operation modes:
– OBD
– DC (bench)
– BDM (available from software v8.2 or greater)
– BDM (available from software v8.2 or greater)
In OBD mode:
– Read / Write Flash only
– Read / Write Eeprom not possible
– No checksum
In DC mode:
– Read / Write Flash only
– Read / Write Eeprom not possible
– No checksum
– On bench without opening control unit
– On bench diagnostics by cable
In BDM mode (NEW):
– Read / Write full Flash & Eeprom
– No checksum
– Need to open module and solder adapter
Hardware requirements:
– VEI V6/V7/V8 device
– Direct Connect 2U tool with OBD2 power cable
– DC2U-OPC4/5 cable
– DC2U-ISP-JTAG+BDM dongle
